The FETs are driven similarly to how tubes are pushed to overdrive an amplifier into distortion, thanks to a unique design by Brian Wampler. The Phenom delivers a wide range of tones, from deep, punchy rhythms to highly responsive leads ideal for soaring solos and sharp harmonics. It features a flexible voicing switch for bright or classic modes, along with independent gain and volume controls and a powerful 3-band EQ.
